You are invited to submit a proposal to present a workshop at the 38th Annual Conference for Pre-K, TK, Kindergarten and First Grade Educators on Friday, February 7th and Saturday, February 8th, 2025, at the Pasadena Convention Center in Pasadena, California.
Great presenters make our conference great! We are particularly interested in presenter proposals that meet the needs of the Pre-K, TK, Kindergarten, and First Grade teachers and present engaging strategies to teach the Common Core, Science of Reading, differentiated instruction, STEAM and STEM, technology, cooperative learning, student progress monitoring, tips for teaching higher-order thinking, strategies that teach with rigor, relevance, and relationships, 21st Century Teaching strategies, and much more!
Please read the Guidelines for Presenters before completing the Presentation Proposal form. A separate form should be completed for each topic proposed. The SCKC Presenter Selection Committee will carefully select the presenters and presentations that reflect our organization’s philosophy and specifically address the California’s Common Core State Standards, California’s Preschool Learning Foundations, California Preschool Curriculum Frameworks, or the California Academic Content Standards.
If you are interested in presenting, please complete the Presentation Proposal form and return it via mail, fax or email. You may also complete your proposal online by Clicking Here.
All proposals should be returned to the SCKC office no later than June 1, 2024. Notification of your acceptance or placement on a waiting list will be emailed to you in August. If you have any questions, please call me at (661) 297-6900 or email at Channon.Morris@SoCalKindergartenConference.org.
